Governance

The Association is governed by its Constitution and has an eleven person Executive that consists of five Office-Bearers and six Ordinary Members. The Executive is elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association.

The Office-Bearers of the Association are:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Minute Secretary

The Association has three geographical regions: North, Central/South East and West South West, which are each represented on the Executive.

The Executive’s roles and responsibilities include:

  • Setting the strategic direction, focus, goals, strategies and actions for the Association.
  • Reviewing and revising the Strategic Direction on an annual basis.
  • Reviewing the Action Plan on a quarterly basis.
  • Defining, implementing and reviewing policies, protocols, procedures and project terms of reference.
